– 2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and chopped) – 1/2 cup powdered sugar – 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Blend the fresh strawberries and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy. Make sure there are no lumps left in the mixture.
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form using a hand mixer or whisk. Do not overwhip to avoid grainy texture.
Gently fold the strawberry puree into the whipped cream using a spatula. Mix carefully to keep the mousse light and airy.
Once fully combined, spoon the mousse into serving glasses or bowls. Smooth the tops with the back of a spoon for a clean finish.
Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve cold and garnish with fresh strawberries or mint if desired.
